"Alphabet of Praises (Part 1, A - I)"
What an incredible experience we have been having in our online discussion group. We have been praising the Lord each day using a new letter of the alphabet. It has been so rich and fulfilling. Not only is God being blessed but all who have been reading the praises have been encouraged, uplifted, and had their faith strengthened as together we have corporately offered up praises to Him Who is worthy.
We have been doing exactly what the Bible says in Psalm 100. And God has been true to His word. He has drawn us into His blessed presence.
Psalm 100
1 Shout for joy to the LORD , all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
I would like to encourage you to get out your Bible, dictionary, concordance, thesaurus, and what ever other books you can find and take this journey with us. Of course it is great to read these praises and join in (and that is what I want you to do) – but when you actually write out your own, you will find yourself filled to overflowing. And that is exactly what happened to all of us. As the days went on, and the praises flowed – that river of praise got stronger and stronger. See what happens in your life as you join this symphony of praise.
This month we will be praising with the letters “A – I.” Then we will spend November and December on the remaining letters. I would love to hear from you – send me your praises!!!

I praise You Lord for You are ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHING in ALL You do, and ABSOLUTELY ADMIRABLE in ALL Your ATTRIBUTES. With my hands lifted high and my heart bowed in ADMIRATION, I lovingly offer You my praises God, You are the ANOINTED One.

I love You Father I give You praise. Lord, You are the BRIDEGROOM. Lord, my prayer is that I will be diligent in keeping a trimmed wick that BURNS BRIGHT and clear, and hotter and higher each minute with a holy fire of passion, so I will be so alert and watchful like a wise virgin, prepared and ready for Your return at any moment. You are the joy of my heart Jesus.
Lord, Your love is BOUNTIFUL and you are always pouring out upon us, Your children an abundance of BLESSINGS. Thank You.
I praise You Jesus for You are BEAUTIFUL and it is Your Face that I long to see. I praise You for the BEAUTY of Your Holiness, for the glory of Your splendor; for the BEAUTIFUL promise of an eternity spent at Your side. Lord You are my BURDEN-BEARER!

Lord, I praise you for being the CAPTAIN of my soul.
Thank You Father, that I am not an orphan wandering through this life alone, but You have chosen to adopt me and share this journey together. I am so privileged to have You as my Father and be Your daughter. Your CONTINUAL loving CARE and support sustains me and inspires me to go on living. My heart wells up with gratitude and appreciation because We have a relationship and this personal relationship with you provides me with ultimate peace and security which I have always hungered and thirsted for and needed. Knowing You heals me. Lord, I give You praise for being my COMFORTER AND COUNSELOR. Knowing You Lord is the most COOL ever!!!!
No one could ever take Your place in my heart Lord, I need You more than anyone or anything. I give You all of my love and adoration. Lord, I thank you for COVERING me with the wings of Your love - for hiding me under the COVERING of the blood of Jesus. What amazing love that you would sacrifice the life of Your Son so that I could live - COVERED in grace and mercy. Thank You Jesus for the blood that You COVERED the mercy seat with so that I can COME into Your presence with boldness.
I praise You Lord for Your COMPASSION that is poured out to me through Your people. I thank You Lord that the evidence of Your CARING is all around me. I rejoice Lord in the CONTINUOUS COMMUNION I am entitled to have with You. I am COMPLETE in You!

Lord You are My DELIVERER. You have DELIVERED me from the snare of the fowler and the DEADLY pestilence. There is nothing that can touch me but your love. Every hope in me is set free and I am DELIVERED from my sins and the power of sin - so that I may be DELIVERED into your kingdom for all eternity. Praise be to your name, Jesus.
Most Precious Father, I praise You for being my lovely DWELLING place. How it DELIGHTS me to know that You created me with a DIVINE DESTINY of DWELLING in Your presence to worship You with praise on my lips. Better is one day in Your courts than thousands elsewhere.
Ps.90:1,2 " Lord, You have been our DWELLING PLACE in all generations. Before the mountains were born or You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God."
Lord, You are the joy of my DESIRE. Father God, You are my DELIGHTFUL DADDY and it is my joy this day to offer up my heartfelt praises to You. You are the DIVINE Author and Creator of all life - including mine. You are the DESIRE of All Nations, You are My DESIRE! I find my DELIGHT in You!
Lord God, I thank You for being the 'DESIGNER' of my life. You are refining me as a jeweler refines gold. Oh Lord my soul DELIGHTS in you! For you have DONE great things in my life.
Oh let the DRUMS beat for your awesome power. Let the DOVES take flight at your DIVINE mercy. Like the DEW in the morning, rest upon my soul. As the DEER panted for the water Lord my soul longs after You. If it wasn't for the Lord that was on my side I would have DROWNED in my tears. But then came the DELIVERER. And made me DRUNK in His love!

God , You are EXALTED high above all else. I praise You ELOHIM (God the Creator) for EXTENDING mercy and grace and for being my ETERNAL life. I am EXCITED at Your Most EXCELLENT works.
Lord, be ENTHRONED in our praises. For You are God and King for EVER and EVER and EVER and EVER and EVER - and we will be with You for all ETERNITY. "Oh Lord, our Lord, how EXCELLENT Your Name is. How EXCELLENT Your Name in all the Earth. Your glory fills the Heavens, beyond the farthest star. How EXCELLENT Your Name in all the Earth.
When I think about the HEAVENS, the moon and all the stars I wonder why You ever thought of me. But You took me and You loved me, and You've given me a crown. And now I praise Your Name ETERNALLY!"

FATHER, praise is pouring from my heart and I am so grateful as I think on all that You have done for me! I am absolutely amazed because for so long before I knew You my existence was one of utter hopelessness - my days filled only with darkness - being a slave to sin and crippled by fear, but now I leap and dance and walk and run in FREEDOM because You, oh God, did not forget me. You are FAITHFUL and You broke the chains that had me bound and rescued me from the pit. I know I can trust You because Your love is perfect and it casts out all fear. You are my FREEDOM and my hope. Your plan stands FIRM FOREVER and You are my FIRM FOUNDATION. I can rest in peace for all of my days and all that concerns me is held within Your very hand and that is so FREEEEEINNNNNGGGG !!
FAITHFUL FATHER, I thank you that You have always been there loving me and guiding me and protecting me and providing for me. You are the only good and perfect FATHER. Thank you that every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the FATHER of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. Thank You that You are this FATHER who FOREVER remains the same. Thank you that You chose me. I so want to get to know You even more as my FATHER. Teach me.
I praise You Lord for You are My FOREVER FATHER, now and through eternity. I praise You FATHER because of Your Great FAITHFULNESS to me, because of Your mercies, which are not consumed but are new each morning. I celebrate the FREEDOM I have found in You, FREEDOM to worship You, FREEDOM to walk in sweet liberty. I rejoice in the FERVENT FIRE of Your love for me. I thank You for the FLAME that burns brightly in my heart this day. I accept the FRESH inFILLING of Your Holy Spirit this day. I praise You for a FRESH encounter with the Living God each and every day of my life. And Jesus I thank You for being my FRIEND. What a FRIEND I have found, more FAITHFUL than a brother. I LOVE YOU!
I praise You oh Lord for being my Rock and my FORTRESS!!!

Lord we desire to see Your GLORY, to know Your GLORY, to walk in Your GLORY. That is the essence of Who You are as Your presence is manifest throughout the universe. Be GLORIFIED in all that we do and say through the power of Your Holy Spirit.
GREAT is Your name Lord and GREATLY to be praised! Your GOODNESS to us we cannot understand but we are GRATEFUL to be the recipients. You are so GOOD to us FATHER GOD! We praise You Lord for the rivers of GRACE that flow from Your throne, may we reach out for Your GRACE and walk in it this day. The place of Your rest Lord is GLORIOUS! May we enter Your rest GREAT and GLORIOUS GOD and fellowship with You there this day. We praise You Lord that every GOOD and perfect GIFT comes from You, Father of Lights. May we use the GIFTS You have GRACIOUSLY GIVEN to us for the furtherance of Your Kingdom and the edification and encouragement of Your Body.
Father, You are absolutely the best GIFT that I have ever received. Thank You for Your amazing GIFT of love and for constantly GIVING of Yourself. Thank You for GIVING Your only Son to die an agonizing death on GOLGOTHA'S hill so that I could obtain everlasting life. I praise You Lord for Your GRACE and for being my balm of GILEAD who heals me. I am so blessed because of You

HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is the Lord. You are the HOLY One of Israel. The God Most HIGH Who Is and Was and Is to come. I bow before you in awesome reverence and worship at Your feet giving You glory and HONOR and praises. You alone are HOLY. And Yet in Your love for us You cover us with the blood of Jesus and give us Your Righteousness setting us apart as HOLY unto You. These things are so great and deep and Your love so far reaching, who can know You, oh God? And yet You ask us to come into Your HOLY presence. So I come now to
worship You.
HOLY are You Lord and awesome in Your power. HOLY are You Lord, magnificent in Your beauty. I worship You in the splendor of Your HOLINESS. I praise You Jesus because You are my HEALER, My Jehovah-Rapha, let Your HEALING wings encompass me today. Lord You are my HIDING PLACE, and my HIGH TOWER. You are a HEDGE of protection about me. You are my HELP, my refuge in times of trouble. Your Name is HIGH and lifted up and Your train fills the temple oh God! You are the Most HIGH God. Jesus, You are the HOPE of the Nations and I praise You for a HOPE that does not disappoint!
Hallelujah to the King. HOSANNA, blessed be the rock and let the God of my salvation be exalted! Oh God, you’re the HYMN in my heart. The HUMBLE one from whom all blessings flow. The HEALER of all infirmities. My present HELP in the time of trouble. To the most HIGH God be HONOR and Glory forever! I am HOLDING on until You come.

Oh Great Jehovah God, the Great I AM. You are INFINITE in Your love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, peace, provision and every good gift that You pour out upon us. I am eternally grateful that You took up our INFIRMITIES and carried our sorrows, Lord. You were pierced for our transgressions, and crushed for our INIQUITIES; the punishment that brought us peace was upon You, and by Your wounds we are healed. Oh Gracious Lord, I praise You and thank You that You are seated at the right hand of the Father, ever living to make INTERCESSION.

Thank You Lord Jesus that You are my IMPERISHABLE INHERITANCE and I am a co-heir of all the Father has given You. I praise You for Your INFINITE Wisdom. I extol You Lord for Jesus, Lord I thank you for being an INSTANT and right now God. Your mercy Is INDISPENSIBLE! Your love is INFALLABLE! Holy IMMACULATE one! Awesome ILLUSTRIOUS one! IMMANUEL! The only and perfect IMMOLATION (sacrifice) for the world! Your IMMENSE power commands righteousness in my life.
Your INFINITE Beauty. I rejoice oh Lord to be the recipient of Your INFINITE love. I come to You who knows my INNERMOST thoughts and the desires of my heart. You are INCOMPARABLY Great and Mighty Lord. You are IMMORTAL. I delight in having an INTIMATE relationship with You. I lift the INSTRUMENT of my voice to worship You this day. I am INTOXICATED by the new wine of Your Presence. How IRRESISTIBLE You are to me Jesus, I draw near to the fire of Your love. Holy Spirit I am grateful that You ILLUMINATE the Word of God to the eyes of my heart. May my prayers and worship be a sweet INCENSE unto Your Throne this day.
